SUBSISTEMAS DE LAS ACTIVIDADES ECONÓMICAS EN LA AMB

Delimitation of the spatial areas of the territorial subsystems of metropolitan economic activities.
This study aims to identify potential territorial units designated for economic activity that, due to their common characteristics, can be grouped into areas for planning and management. The delineation of sub-areas, based on an aggregated analysis of the Barcelona Metropolitan Region (BMR), relies on various criteria: their position in relation to urban centers, their level of accessibility from mobility infrastructures, their relationship with metropolitan open spaces, the predominant activity, and their morphological characteristics.
